A former professional rower (who won his share of medals over his 12 year career) Marm’s training motto is ‘be an everyday athlete’. His workouts focus on functional training and preparing participants for everyday athletic moments, such as sprinting for the S-Bahn and carrying a crate of water up the stairs to a 5th floor apartment. Marm is a certified functional and athletics trainer and TRX and calisthenics instructor. His training philosophy is ‘back to basics’ and he believes in building a solid foundation of common movement patterns, to open the way to more complex movement
